Though the newspaper has a small audience, the article was picked up by outlets likeDeadline,Reutersand PEOPLE. PEOPLE reached out to Malpaso, Eastwood's production company, and Warner Bros, but did not immediately receive a response. In the circulated article, the veteran actor and producer weighed in on remakes, stating: "I've shot sequels three times, but I haven't been interested in that for a long while. My philosophy is: do something new or stay at home," the Austrian outlet reported per Reuters.
