<p>In time for the back to school season, Chipotle is unveiling a new college student rewards program and a limited line of dorm room decor.</p>

<p>Chipotle Mexican Grill launched Chipotle U Rewards on Aug. 19. College students are eligible to enroll and earn 12 reward points for every $1 spent. This is up from the traditional Chipotle Rewards program, which offers 10 points per $1. As the fall semester starts, Chipotle is offering 1,000 bonus points to each student who enrolls.</p>

<p>In addition to the rewards program, Chipotle and Urban Outfitters have partnered to create "A Little Extra" Dorm Collection. Available Aug. 20, the collection features Chipotle-inspired home decor, including a desk lamp that looks like a bag of chips and a burrito throw blanket. Items in the limited-edition collection range from $16 to $300.</p>

<p>College students interested in signing up for Chipotle U Rewards may do so on the Chipotle website at chipotle.com/chipotle-u-rewards. Once signed in, students must validate their college enrollment through ID.me, an online identity network.</p>

<p>What rewards does Chipotle U offer?</p>

<p>Chipotle U reward points can be used for free entrees, burritos or guacamole. Chipotle U also offers free food drops, discounts and free delivery. Reward members will be notified of these deals via email.</p>

<p>Do Chipotle U rewards expire?</p>

<p>Yes. All Chipotle rewards points expire after 180 days of account inactivity.</p>
