Jennifer Aniston received support from her new boyfriend, hypnotherapist Jim Curtis, as she hosted an event for her haircare brand LolaVie in Los Angeles on Aug. 20.

In a clip shared by Entertainment Tonight on Instagram, Curtis can be seen sitting with a big smile on his face as he supported her from the sidelines. He appeared to dress casually for the event in a brown barn jacket.

According to the outlet, Curtis was "lowkey engaging, laughing" and "seemed very happy to be there to support Jen," per an eyewitness.

Aniston, 56, charmed the crowd as she promoted LolaVie's Powder Perfect Dry Shampoo, which launched in early August. For the event, Aniston wore her signature look — a little black dress — and matching slingback heels, her famous hair styled in long layers.

PEOPLE confirmed Aniston and Curtis' relationship status in July. An insider revealed that the two are "casually dating and having fun." Another source said that the pair had already been seeing each other "for a few months" after starting out platonically when they were introduced to each other by a friend.

"She's been happy on her own, but she's also open to sharing her life with someone. As long as it feels right," the insider added of the Morning Show star. "Jen's in a very good place right now — grounded, fulfilled and very happy."

They continued by saying that Curtis is "different from anyone" the Friends alum has "dated before." Aniston's relationship history includes Brad Pitt (to whom she was married from 2000 to 2005), Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and most recently Justin Theroux, whom she divorced in 2018.

Since news of their romance broke, Aniston and Curtis have been on multiple double dates with her famous friends. On Aug. 4, they attended a three-hour-long hangout with Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, in New York City, then stepped out with Courteney Cox and her longtime partner, Johnny McDaid, in Malibu, Calif., on Aug. 18.

It's safe to say that life has been a juggling act for Aniston, who's also focused on her current onscreen projects, including the Apple TV+ hit series (also starring Reese Witherspoon) and the adaptation of Jennette McCurdy's memoir I'm Glad My Mom Died (which Aniston will star in and executive-produce). So, when it's time to wind down during the day, her plans are doing a whole lot of "nothing."

"I come home. I'm with my dogs. I'll put on music," she told PEOPLE in early August, continuing, "I'll talk to some friends on the phone, like people used to do. I like to just zone out to a great documentary, something that's going to be light on my heart and make me laugh. Maybe have friends over for dinner."

Her current state of mind? Leaning into joy. "I try to focus on the beautiful things that are happening in life and where I can contribute. There are certain things that are out of our control and out of our power, which is quite frustrating. So try not to dwell where you are handcuffed and can't do anything. I love my work, I love my dogs, I love my friends, and I'm excited about creating new things."
