<p>Matthew Atkinson has teased that he is back filming The Bold and the Beautiful as Thomas Forrester. As Parade reported, we have reached out to his rep for confirmation.</p>

<p>Fans have been losing their minds after Atkinson's tease. The actor has been off-screen for more than a year. The last time fans saw Thomas, he announced his engagement to Paris (Diamond White). They then left Los Angeles for Paris with Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) in tow.</p>

<p>In his social media share, Atkinson was playing corn hole outside The Bold and the Beautiful Studio. "Second time's a charm," read his caption.</p>

<p>Fans soon flooded his comments with hopes he was returning to the show and not simply just messing with them.</p>

<p>"Stop playing with my heart Thomas," declared one fan. Another fan insisted, "Stop it right now!! 🥰🙌🏼 I hope this means what I think it does. So so excited!!!"</p>

<p>Comments continued with, "I hope this means you're coming back to Bold and Beautiful, you have been missed. We need a Thope reunion!" and "I hope this isn't just teasing us because Thomas and Thope fans have suffered enough already 😂."</p>

<p>"❤️❤️❤️u back?! My Wish comes true🔥🔥🔥," said a fan, as a different one wrote, "Well this is EXCITING news!! 🤗"</p>

<p>One expressed, "Don't tease us, Matthew. It's been a rough year for fans of Thomas and Thope and Douglas." More fan comments included, "Please don't tease us…say you're back!!🙌" and "Please @jmattatkinson don't play with our emotions. Are you coming back for real? ❤️."</p>

<p>An eagle-eyed fan pointed out that Atkinson was not at the new The Bold and the Beautiful studios. "He is at the old studio not at the new studio." However, that doesn't mean that the actor didn't film scenes at the old studio before the show's summer holiday break.</p>

<p>Fans will just have to wait to see what Atkinson's tease really means, but all signs point to him returning as Thomas. The timing would be right, too, considering Grace (Cassandra Creech) faked Liam's (Scott Clifton) brain tumor to keep her daughters, Paris, Thomas's fiancée, and Zoe (Kiara Barnes) safe.</p>

<p>One fan mentioned that the current storyline was the perfect opportunity to bring back Thomas, saying, "I mean Paris was apparently being threatened and she's engaged to a Forrester! Time to bring Thomas back regardless."</p>
