<p>Bobby Flay sparked engagement rumors when he posted a picture of girlfriend Brooke Williamson wearing a diamond ring on Tuesday, Oct. 14</p>
<p>Fans quickly questioned the photo, posting about the possible announcement on Reddit and Instagram</p>
<p>A source close to Flay and Williamson confirmed details about the ring to PEOPLE</p>
<p>Bobby Flay and Brooke Williamson are committed to their relationship.</p>
<p>The Bobby's Triple Threat star set the internet ablaze when he posted a photo of the Sunkissed Cooking cookbook author's hand on his Instagram Stories. The Tuesday, Oct. 14, picture showed Williamson's hand in her jean pocket and a big diamond ring sticking out. Over the photo, Flay wrote, "it's casual."</p>
<p>Fans quickly shared conspiracies online, posting about the couple's rumored engagement on Reddit forums and social media. One person wrote on the Beat Bobby Flay competitor's Instagram post, "Excuse me… your story….. 💍"</p>
<p>But, eagle-eyed fans were quick to dispute the claims, pointing out that the ring is on her right hand per the tattoos visible in the shot. Some also noticed that the ring looks similar to the one Williamson wore while filming Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in September.</p>
<p>Neither Flay nor Williamson are commenting but a source close to the couple confirmed to PEOPLE that they are not engaged.</p>
<p>"It was a gift from Bobby," the source told PEOPLE of the ring. "I've never seen them happier and they are fully committed to one another."</p>
<p>The pair's friendship shifted when the celebrity chefs announced their relationship in March 2025.</p>

<p>"They have been friends for a while and recently decided to jump in," a source told PEOPLE at the time. "Her divorce last year probably gave them some additional shared experiences and over the last few weeks, love bloomed."</p>
<p>Since going public with their romance, the pair have been busy at the U.S. Open, celebrating Williamson's 47th birthday together and competing on the same team on Family Feud. On Saturday, Oct. 18, the couple will share the stage at New York City Wine & Food Festival's Grand Tasting: After Dark.</p>
<p>Flay opened up about their relationship in an interview with PEOPLE in June, saying, "I've been friends with Brooke forever."</p>

<p>He also reflected on the similarities the two culinary stars share.</p>
<p>"I love working with Brooke," he said, pointing to the fact that they both work in the restaurant business. "We have a lot in common. We're very lucky. We're both chefs. We both have kids. We're both parents."</p>
<p>Williamson has a son, Hudson, from her previous marriage to Nick Roberts, and Flay has a daughter, Sophie Flay, from his marriage to Kate Connelly.</p>
<p>Flay continued, "And one of the things I really like about being in a relationship with Brooke is that she's great to bounce things off of. Like we ask each other's opinion about things that we're doing food wise or restaurant wise or business wise, all the time. So it's really nice to have kind of a best friend that you're dating that can also be helpful answering the questions that you have."</p>
