Demi Moore is returning to her roots — going all the way back to 1996 for inspiration for her latest hair transformation.

The actress, 62, just debuted a brand new look as part of her starring role in Gucci's short film The Tiger. On Instagram on Monday (Oct. 5), Moore shared a photo showing off her long and gorgeous dark locks and her recently cut curtain bangs.

Moore went on to explain that it marks the first time she's had fringe since she filmed Striptease back in the late '90s. She even included a screenshot from the movie for comparison.

"Bangs – now and then. Thank you @gucci for letting me bring back the fringe for the first time since the Striptease days!" Moore captioned the image, tagging her hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos.

Moore received tons of praise in the comment section, with friends and fans alike hyping her up about the hair transformation.

"SO GOOD too good!! We love u," Moore's daughter Tallulah Willis wrote in the comments, while her The Tiger co-star Keke Palmer simply added, "My girl. Meanwhile, actress Jaimie Alexander added that she "loved it" and Rita Wilson added a red heart.

Of course, so many fans wrote in, calling the hairdo "enchanting" and "absolutely amazing."

This isn't the first time Moore has transformed her hair as of late. Earlier this year, Moore was spotted rocking a long bob while she was working on the second season of Landman. While her new look was actually just a wig, it marked the first time in quite a while that she was seen without her long locks.

But throughout her career, Moore has never been afraid to change her hair for a role. She says that's why she tends not to do anything with it when she's not working.

"I've done everything to my hair. I've shaved it. I've dyed it. I've had a bob. When I'm not working, I try to do as little to it as possible," she explained to People. "It's stressful even having someone touch it. If I don't have anywhere to go, I don't put heat on it—I just try to let it do its own thing. And I don't wash it too often."

And when it comes to changing up her hair for work nowadays? She'd definitely prefer to just use a wig.
