<p>Academy Award-nominated actress Diane Lane made a rare public appearance to attend the star-studded 2025 Academy Museum Gala on Oct. 18. The actress, who is most well-known for past roles in projects like Unfaithful, The Outsiders, and Feud, wowed on the red carpet as she donned a timeless, elegant look.</p>
<p>Lane arrived at the event in a chic floor-length black dress that featured a long sleeve on the left arm and was sleeveless on the other, with a high neckline. She added a bold silver cuff on her right arm and stunning spiral diamond earrings, while her hair was styled in a sophisticated updo.</p>

<p>Once inside the gala, Lane appeared to have fun with some close friends and other well-known actors, including Laura Dern, Lucy Liu, Demi Moore, and Rita Wilson. The group of women posed together with bright smiles on their faces, all looking happy and glamorous.</p>

<p>The special event held on Oct. 18 was the Academy Museum's fifth annual gala, and it was filled with famous faces looking stunning in gowns, suits and other eye-catching outfits. Other stars at the event included Bruce Springsteen, Jenna Ortega, George Clooney, Kate Hudson, Viola Davis and more.</p>
<p>Lane's last appearance at a Hollywood event appeared to be back in May, when she attended the Skin Cancer Foundation's 2025 Champions For Change Gala. While she tends to stay out of the spotlight, she is still a busy, working actress.</p>
<p>This month, her new film, Anniversary, a political psychological thriller, is coming out in theaters. Lane stars as Ellen, a university professor whose world is turned upside down when her son Josh (Dylan O'Brien) brings his new girlfriend Liz (Phoebe Dynevor), a former student of Ellen's who was expelled from the university for her radical political views, to her and her husband's anniversary party.</p>
<p>Anniversary also stars Kyle Chandler as Ellen's husband Paul, and Madeline Brewer, Zoey Deutch and Mckenna Grace as Ellen and Paul's three daughters. Lane will also star in an upcoming thriller called Moral Capacity, co-starring Sofia Boutella, Tim Robbins and Dacre Montgomery, that is currently in pre-production.</p>
