There are certain sides of felines that leave owners in splits. A recent social media post has perfectly captured this instance. The video shows an orange cat, Frito, stepping outdoors for freedom until a twist happens. A user named @zero.theshepherd took to their Instagram to share this hillarious moment. The page follows Frito’s endless shenagians with his German Shepherd sibling, Zero.
Orange cat ventures outside before deciding the familiar comforts of home are better
In the video, the orange cat’s outdoor freedom ends up getting halted. The paw parent decides to let Frito step out of the house, likely for playtime and walks. He appears excited by the weather and runs out of the house. Soon, the feline realizes it is raining and immediately runs inside. He gets a little wet and dries himself. His dog sibling, Zero, hillariously observed his quick run-in and run-out.
The canine appears to stop Frito as he ran back to the house. The orange cat clearly isn’t fond of rain, so it doesn’t take seconds for him to drop his freedom opportunity. He must be looking for a sunny day in order to enjoy his outing but the rain forces him to realize that homes are better. The owner was seemingly aware of Frito’s lack of fondness for rain. Yet, she lets him step outdoors to get a taste of his freedom, possibly to pull his leg.
There have been multiple videos of cats expressing dislike for rainy weather. These fur babies often drop their outdoor plans due to the rain, and Frito falls in the same category. At the time of writing, the video has garnered above 7 million views and 484K views.
Netizens shared their reactions, with one saying, “A rare footage of an orange cat utilising their one brain cell Truly magnificent!” Another user wrote, “It’s at that moment he realized freedom is overrated.” A third one commented, “BAHAHA my orange’s the same.”
