<p>Actress Brooke Shields shared a humorous video that showed her interacting with a doll made in her likeness, released in 1982.</p>
<p>In the Instagram video, uploaded on September 29, Shields held the doll, which was wearing a blue sweater and white leggings. She then gave the toy a series of affirmations.</p>
<p>"You are enough. You matter. You're strong. You're sensitive. You're a good person. You can do this," said Shields to the collectible toy.</p>
<p>"Sometimes you just need some Monday affirmations with your doll. Weird? Yes. Affirming? Also yes. xx," read the caption of the post.</p>
<p>Several Fans Shared That They Appreciated Brooke Shields' Post</p>
<p>Several fans flocked to the post's comments section to share that they appreciated Shields' post.</p>
<p>"#LoveIt you are perfect the way you are! PERIOD," wrote a commenter.</p>
<p>"Love this I needed this today. Love you Brooke," added another person.</p>
<p>"That's not weird at all! I do it all the time if that makes me weird well then I'm in good company," shared a different Instagram user.</p>
<p>"Omg dying so stinking cute and funny! Xoxox," commented a fan.</p>
<p>"Love it Brooke! We all could use our own affirmations doll!" chimed in a fifth person.</p>
<p>Other commenters also shared that they still have the same 1982 toy.</p>
<p>"I still have my Brooke Shields Barbie. She's still in the box and I'll love her forever," stated a fan.</p>
<p>"I have her too! In that powder blue sweater! I saved her from when I was 12 years old," shared another.</p>
<p>Brooke Shields Shared What She's Learned as She's Gotten Older</p>
<p>Shields, who has worked as an actor and model, has been in the entertainment industry since she was a child. In a January 2025 interview with CBS, Shields got candid about what she has learned as she has gotten older. The 60-year-old said that she no longer feels "as judgmental about [herself]." In addition, she said she has stopped comparing herself to others.</p>
<p>She also said that she views being 60 as "the beginning of a new really exciting stage."</p>
<p>"I'm happy to still be in the game, whatever game that is," said Shields during the CBS interview.</p>
<p>She also said she doesn't second-question her behavior in social situations, which was something that used to cause her anxiety.</p>
