Mariah Carey paid a sweet tribute to Ozzy Osbourne two months after his death.

The '90s pop icon got candid about how the late British musician influenced her as a child.

The "We Belong Together" star impressed fans with her vast knowledge of music as she flawlessly won the "Name the Artist" challenge.

In a post shared by Track Star, Carey lit up Central Park with her charisma and star power but the real question was whether she could guess every song correctly.

As she attentively listened to the first song, she managed to answer it correctly and mentioned Janet Jackson.

"We love Janet. Who doesn't love Janet?" she said.

Carey went on to mention Luther Vandross, noting that she was a huge fan of his and even recorded a duet with him on "Endless Love."

As the challenge continued, the award-winning singer correctly identified artists across a wide range of genres, from 2Pac and Fleetwood Mac to DeBarge, New Edition, The Clark Sisters and Brandy. But the biggest surprise came when the host threw in a heavy metal classic, the song "Crazy Train" by none other than rock 'n' roll's Prince of Darkness.

"I really do love this song and I'm really sad that he passed away," she said, adding, "When I was growing up, I listened to this."

Fans were impressed not only by how well-versed she is in music, regardless of the genre, but also by her surprising familiarity with heavy metal songs.

"Mariah loves Ozzy??? I love her even more," one wrote.

Another fan chimed in and revealed the singer's secret 1995 grunge album.

"He got a whole hidden rock album. This woman loves music," a commenter said, referring to Someone's Ugly Daughter.

Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22 at the age of 76 due to a cardiac arrest. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019.

Although the late Black Sabbath frontman and the "Give Me All Your Love" singer were rarely seen together, they shared a genuine friendship.

The "Iron Man" hitmaker, along with his wife Sharon Osbourne, even attended Carey's wedding to her ex-husband Tommy Mottola in 1993.

Over the years, she also maintained a warm relationship with the former X Factor judge, once thanking her publicly for visiting during her 2016 Las Vegas residency.

"Thanks so much to my friend Sharon Osbourne for visiting me in Vegas and sprinkling her fairy dust on me. Love you, Sharon!" she wrote in a social media post along with a picture of them after the show.
